The senate is looking at a bill to fix the salaries of some government officials.
The total compensation will be for:
- Student president: a total of $8,800 a year, paid in $800 per semester and $600 a month.
- Vice president, speaker of the senate, director of programming, director of clubs and organizations: a total of $7,000 a year, paid in $800 per semester and $450 a month.
- Senators, justices and programmers: the equivalent of three undergraduate credit-hours.
- Certain directors: an amount to be determined.
