Sandy Rodriguez, director of the Associated Students of the University of Nevada, echoed Sen. Sean McDonald’s feelings that senators didn’t debate the compensation bill enough.

She said she feels the senate is either giving a “stamp of approval” or pushing bills they don’t like back to committee.

“It’s OK to debate things,” she said.
